Beat The Rush was purchased for just £10,000 as a yearling in October 2008. He is a full-brother to our star hurdler, Bouggler, and is a very athletic and attractive horse.

He created a very good impression when finishing second on his debut in July 2009 and landed a nursery at Pontefact on his last start as a two-year-old. He finished a very close second to the useful Corsica on his first start as a three-year-old and won next time out back at Pontefract. He won again at Ripon in June and after flopping at York at the end of the year, he enjoyed a long winter holiday.

He finished third at Musselburgh on his comeback run in the spring and had a wind operation in the summer. He has done well over the winter and his first aim of 2012 if the Musselburgh Gold Cup on Easter Sunday, 8 April.
